The Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful implementation and installation of business solutions in accordance with the Temenos Implementation Methodology and the client’s business objectives by scoping and agreeing on the requirement, planning, leading, coordinating and controlling of the human and technical resources to complete projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and define the scope of projects in accordance with client business objectives.
  • Develop project plans to meet the clients agreed upon requirements and communicate it to project team and Client Services Management.
  • Track & monitor project progress and ensure on time delivery of milestones and within the budget.
  • Provision of timely and accurate information for client billing.
  • Provision of regular reporting client management on project progress, status, risks and issues.
  • Planning of resource requirements in advance to ensure best use of T24 resources.
  • To obtain client sign off on.
  • Project definition and scope.
  • Project deliverables and agreed milestones.
  • All change control items.
  • Maintaining high quality of project deliverables by utilizing the Temenos implementation methodology and quality control procedures.
  • Identify any risks or issues and provide solutions to mitigate them.
  • Notify the Project Director of any issues outside of the scope of the Project Manager’s control.
  • Liaise with the Project Director on any product issues and ensure that proper actions are taken to solve them in accordance with the project plan and objectives.
  • Identify and advise the Project Director on opportunities for new sales or to increase services revenues.
  • Provide assistance, leadership and motivation to the project team to ensure timely execution of tasks and team success.
  • Evaluate and provide performance feedback of assigned consultant during interim or annual appraisals Ensure that all consultants, assigned to the project, complete time-sheets and expense reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Ensure that the Project Team presents a professional image of the company to the client.

Skills & Experience

  • Educational & Proficiency level: Bachelor’s degree is required. Professional with 10 years of experience in managing software implantation projects, minimum 5 years of T24 projects experience. Or preferably in the banking industry. Managed projects with 15-20 direct reports.
  • Technical knowledge: Understanding of banking processes. IT oriented: knowledge of banking/ financial software application; excellent knowledge in PowerPoint, Excel as well as other MS Office applications. Experience with JIRA is an asset.
  • Languages: Fluent written and spoken English is a must. Working French level would be an advantage.
  • Others: This job involves complex activities demanding considerable co-ordination to effectively achieve the job’s end results. In order to be successful in this role, a demonstrated ability in the following areas is necessary: work well within a team, influence key players, commitment to projects, excellent verbal and written communication skills, track record of delivering projects on time, desire to continually grow and deliver customer value.

Job Location: This job is based in Luxembourg, but the candidate should be willing to travel as required up to 50% of the time for projects across Europe.
